Shostakovich: Symphony No. 11 - "The Year 1905"

Review by Priya Raman★★★★Sample

There's a version of me before this album and one after, and the after one is insufferable about it.

the highs are high but it sags in the middle. still coming back for “Symphony No. 11 in G Minor, Op. 103 - "The Year of 1905": IV. Alarm (Allegro Non Troppo - Adagio - Allegro)” though.

Respectfully: no. “Symphony No. 11 in G Minor, Op. 103 - "The Year of 1905": II. Ninth of January (Allegro - Adagio)” is the only thing I'd revisit.
