I respect it more than I love it. “Suite on the Themes of Army Songs (feat. Viktor Fedorov)” is undeniable though.

Good album to do dishes to. Great album to stare at the ceiling to.

Overhyped? Maybe. Did I still cry at “Naval Pilots (feat. Gennady Sachenuyk & Gennady Sachenyuk, Maxim Maklakov)”? Also maybe.

Played this on a road trip and now every highway sounds like “Grenadier (feat. Sergey Sokolov & Stepan Eguraev)”.

the highs are high but it sags in the middle. still coming back for “"Wait for the Soldier" [Suite on the Themes of the Songs by B. Mokrousov and V. Shainsky] [feat. Igor Raevsky, Maxim Maklakov, Victoria Vasilenko & Ksenia Porosnykh]” though.
