Adams, John: The Chairman Dances

Review by Jules Archer★★★½Sample

Solid, but I keep skipping “The Chairman Dances (Foxtrot for Orchestra)”. Sorry John Adams, Edo de Waart & San Francisco Symphony.

Not every song lands, but when it does it LANDS. “Two Fanfares for Orchestra: II. Short Ride in a Fast Machine” is the keeper.
