the highs are high but it sags in the middle. still coming back for “Obertura Mexicana (feat. Juan Gabriel, Vicente Fernandez, Las Hermanas Padilla, Las Jilguerillas, El Piporro & La Prieta Linda)” though.

the sequencing here is criminally underrated. “Obertura Mexicana (feat. Juan Gabriel, Vicente Fernandez, Las Hermanas Padilla, Las Jilguerillas, El Piporro & La Prieta Linda)” into the next one?? come on.

Overhyped? Maybe. Did I still cry at “Obertura Mexicana (feat. Juan Gabriel, Vicente Fernandez, Las Hermanas Padilla, Las Jilguerillas, El Piporro & La Prieta Linda)”? Also maybe.

Lola Beltrán, Amalia Mendoza & Lucha Villa really said 'let me ruin your whole week' and then did it beautifully.
