Die Dreigroschenoper (The Threepenny Opera): Song of the Inadequacy of Life [Bertold Brecht]

Review by Mira Okafor★★★½Sample

Solid, but I keep skipping “Die Dreigroschenoper (The Threepenny Opera): Song of the Inadequacy of Life [Bertold Brecht]”. Sorry Berliner Staatsoper Orchester, Bertolt Brecht, Lotte Lenya & Otto Klemperer.

Not every song lands, but when it does it LANDS. “Die Dreigroschenoper (The Threepenny Opera): Song of the Inadequacy of Life [Bertold Brecht]” is the keeper.

The production on this is so warm it feels like sitting next to a radiator in January.
