I wanted to love this so badly. “Eine Alpensinfonie (An Alpine Symphony), Op. 64, TrV 233: II. Sonnenaufgang: Festes Zeitmass, Massig Langsam” is fine I guess.

the highs are high but it sags in the middle. still coming back for “Eine Alpensinfonie (An Alpine Symphony), Op. 64, TrV 233: II. Sonnenaufgang: Festes Zeitmass, Massig Langsam” though.

Not every song lands, but when it does it LANDS. “Eine Alpensinfonie (An Alpine Symphony), Op. 64, TrV 233: II. Sonnenaufgang: Festes Zeitmass, Massig Langsam” is the keeper.

Good album to do dishes to. Great album to stare at the ceiling to.

Overhyped? Maybe. Did I still cry at “Eine Alpensinfonie (An Alpine Symphony), Op. 64, TrV 233: II. Sonnenaufgang: Festes Zeitmass, Massig Langsam”? Also maybe.
