Porgy and Bess: What You Want wid Bess?

Review by Tomasz W.★★★½Sample

Solid, but I keep skipping “Porgy and Bess: What You Want wid Bess?”. Sorry Leontyne Price, Maeretha Stewart, Barbara Webb, John W. Bubbles, Nathaniel S. Johnson, Skitch Henderson, William Warfield, The RCA Victor Orchestra, Alonzo Jones, Miriam Burton, RCA Victor Chorus, Leonard de Paur, Berniece Hall, Robert Henson & McHenry Boatwright.

Respectfully: no. “Porgy and Bess: What You Want wid Bess?” is the only thing I'd revisit.

Not every song lands, but when it does it LANDS. “Porgy and Bess: What You Want wid Bess?” is the keeper.
