Le Cid - An opera in four acts: Castillane

Review by Tomasz W.★★★½Sample

Solid, but I keep skipping “Le Cid - An opera in four acts: Castillane”. Sorry Opera Orchestra of New York, Grace Bumbry, Plácido Domingo, Jake Gardner, Eleanor Bergquist, Arnold Voketaitis, Paul Plishka, Eve Queller, Theodore Hodges, Clinton Ingram, John Adams & Byrne Camp Chorale.

I wanted to love this so badly. “Le Cid - An opera in four acts: Castillane” is fine I guess.

Too long by about four songs. Trim it down and we talk.

Good album to do dishes to. Great album to stare at the ceiling to.
