Solid, but I keep skipping “Elijah, Oratorio on Words of the Old Testament, Op. 70 : Chorus: Behold, God the Lord passed by!”. Sorry New York Philharmonic, Alan Gilbert, New York Choral Artists, Joseph Flummerfelt, Twyla Robinson, Alice Coote, Allan Clayton, Gerald Finley, Jennifer Johnston & Benjamin P. Wenzelberg.

Took me three listens. By the third, “Elijah, Oratorio on Words of the Old Testament, Op. 70 : Chorus: Behold, God the Lord passed by!” had moved in and started paying rent.

I respect it more than I love it. “Elijah, Oratorio on Words of the Old Testament, Op. 70 : Chorus: Behold, God the Lord passed by!” is undeniable though.

Overhyped? Maybe. Did I still cry at “Elijah, Oratorio on Words of the Old Testament, Op. 70 : Chorus: Behold, God the Lord passed by!”? Also maybe.

Respectfully: no. “Elijah, Oratorio on Words of the Old Testament, Op. 70 : Chorus: Behold, God the Lord passed by!” is the only thing I'd revisit.
